Your whole team.
The right access for each.
Invite everyone into one shared workspace and give each person a role that fits. Owners run the account, Admins run the billing, Staff get invoices out — everyone sees exactly what they should, and nothing they shouldn't.
Three roles, cleanly separated
One workspace, the right access for each person
Every teammate gets a role. Permissions are enforced on the server — not just hidden in the interface.
Owner
Runs the account
The person who signed the workspace up. Full control of everything — including the things no one else can touch: billing, the plan, payment-gateway connections, and workspace branding.
- Everything an Admin can do
- Connect Stripe, Paystack & PayPal
- Change the plan, billing & subscription
- Edit workspace settings, logo & branding
Admin
Manages the day-to-day
Your right hand. Runs billing operations end to end and manages the team — but can't change the plan, the money rails, or workspace branding. Those stay with the Owner.
- Create & send every document type
- See and manage every client
- Invite teammates & set their roles
- Products, templates, recurring billing & reports
Staff
Gets invoices out
The people raising invoices. They create and send documents freely, but only see the clients they've billed or been assigned — and revenue figures stay hidden from them.
- Create & send invoices, quotes, proforma & credit notes
- See only clients they've billed or been assigned
- Download and share what they create
- No access to revenue, reports, team or settings
Who can do what
The exact permission model — the same rules BillRyt enforces on every request.

Up and running in minutes
Invite, assign, done. No IT project, no per-seat maths.
Invite by email
Send an invite from Team Members. Your teammate gets a magic link, sets their own password, and lands in the shared workspace — no seat fees, no shared logins.
Assign a role
Pick Admin or Staff when you invite (the Owner is you). Roles are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI — a Staff member can't reach an Admin action even by guessing the URL.
Everyone sees the right slice
Staff see only the clients they work on and never see revenue. Admins run the whole operation. You keep billing and branding to yourself. Change a role any time.
Seats included with your plan
Team access is included on Agency and Merchant — every seat at no extra cost.
Agency
15
team members included
Merchant
20
team members included
Free and Freelancer plans are single-user.
Team & permissions questions
Which plans include team members?
Team access is on the Agency and Merchant plans. Agency includes up to 15 members and Merchant up to 20 — all at no per-seat cost. The Free and Freelancer plans are single-user.
Do you charge per seat?
No. The price is the same whether you invite 2 people or your full allowance. Adding teammates never increases your bill within your plan's seat limit.
What's the difference between Admin and Staff?
An Admin runs billing day-to-day and manages the team — clients, products, recurring schedules, reports, and inviting others. Staff create and send documents but only see the clients they've billed or been assigned, and revenue figures stay hidden from them. Only the Owner controls billing, the plan, payment-gateway connections, and workspace branding.
Can Staff see how much the business is making?
No. Revenue totals, dashboards, and financial reports are hidden from Staff. They see the documents and clients they work on — not the workspace's income.
Are permissions actually enforced, or just hidden in the interface?
Enforced on the server. Every restricted action is gated in the API, so a role can't reach something it shouldn't even by calling the endpoint directly. Hiding a button in the UI is only the cosmetic half — the backend independently checks the role.
Can I change someone's role later?
Yes. Roles are changed any time from the Team Members page, and every invite and role change is recorded in the audit log.
