Step-by-Step Setup
Set workspace currency
Go to Settings → Workspace → Currency. Choose your primary billing currency. This is the default for all new invoices.
Choose per-invoice currency
When creating an invoice, click the currency selector to choose a different currency for that specific invoice.
Send to client
Client receives the invoice in the currency you chose. Payment is collected in that currency via Stripe or Paystack.
View by currency
Your dashboard and reports show revenue and outstanding amounts broken down by currency. No mixed-currency confusion.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does BillRyt convert currencies automatically?
No. BillRyt shows each currency separately without conversion. This is intentional — exchange rate conversion is an accounting function, not a billing function.
Which currencies does Paystack support?
Paystack supports NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, EGP and USD/GBP/EUR for international transactions depending on the merchant's country.
Can I bill in a different currency than my bank account?
Yes. You invoice in whatever currency you choose. The payment lands in your Stripe or Paystack account in that currency.
What African currencies are supported?
KES (Kenya), NGN (Nigeria), GHS (Ghana), ZAR (South Africa), EGP (Egypt), UGX (Uganda), TZS (Tanzania), RWF (Rwanda), XOF (West Africa CFA).
