1. What We Collect

Account data: name, email address, business name, address, and logo.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps of activity.

Document data: invoices, client records, and payment records you create inside BillRyt.

Payment data: we pass payment details directly to Stripe or Paystack. We never store card numbers, CVVs, or bank credentials on our servers.

2. How We Use It

• To provide the BillRyt service.
• To send transactional emails (invoices, reminders, receipts).
• To improve the product based on usage patterns.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. What We Share

• Stripe and Paystack — to process payments.
• Cloudflare R2 — to store generated PDF files.
• Sentry — for error monitoring (anonymised stack traces only).

We do not share your client data, invoice data, or business information with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Your Rights

• Access your data at any time via your account dashboard.
• Export your data (invoices, clients) via CSV from the Reports section.
• Request deletion by contacting support@billryt.com — we delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Data portability: all invoice data is exportable in CSV format.

5. Data Retention

• Active accounts: data retained while the account is active.
• Deleted accounts: all data purged within 30 days of deletion request.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: session authentication and user preference storage. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. No third-party cookies except Stripe's payment widget, which is subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
