Track Supplier Bills & Expenses

Know what you owe — and your real profit

Invoicing tells you what you're owed; accounts payable tells you what you owe. On BillRyt's Agency and Merchant plans you record supplier bills and expenses, log payments, and see your net VAT — all posted to your double-entry ledger automatically, so your P&L reflects real profit.

What you can do

Vendors & bills

Add the suppliers you buy from and record each bill with its amount, tax and due date. Totals are calculated server-side.

Payments & balances

Log payments against bills and BillRyt keeps the outstanding balance and paid status up to date.

Cash expenses in one step

Paid on the spot? Capture a cash expense — it records a fully-paid bill instantly, input VAT included.

Net VAT position

Input VAT on purchases nets against output VAT on sales, per currency — so you always know what's due.

Setting it up — step by step

1

Add a vendor

Go to Books → Vendors and add the supplier you buy from.

2

Record a bill

In Books → Bills, enter the supplier invoice — amount, tax and due date. It posts to your ledger automatically.

3

Record payment

When you pay, log the payment against the bill. BillRyt updates the outstanding balance and the ledger.

4

Capture cash expenses

For an on-the-spot purchase, use Cash Expense — a fully-paid bill in one step, with input VAT captured.

Frequently asked questions

What is accounts payable?

The money your business owes suppliers for goods or services received but not yet paid for. Tracking it tells you what's due and when.

Can BillRyt track supplier bills and expenses?

Yes — on Agency and Merchant you can add vendors, record bills, log payments, and capture cash expenses, all posted to your ledger automatically.

How does input VAT work?

The VAT you pay on bills (input VAT) nets against the VAT you charge on sales (output VAT), so BillRyt shows your net VAT position per currency.

Do bills show up in my reports?

Yes — bills and expenses become operating expenses on your P&L, unpaid bills sit as liabilities on your Balance Sheet, and input VAT feeds the net-VAT summary.
